Phishing and Identity Theft
Theft of personal information and theft of identities is a major problem for online merchants. Adaptive Marketing fully endorses the Anti-Phishing Working Group in its efforts to combat this rapidly growing problem.
A useful source to direct consumers to, for answers to questions they may have about online fraud, is the National Fraud Information Center's Internet Fraud Watch.
For broader consumer questions, the Federal Citizen Information Center offers a wide range of consumer resources.
Direct and Multi-Channel Marketing
The Electronic Retailers Association brings e-Tailers together for educational and marketing purposes and helps foster the growth and development of the rapidly expanding direct response industry. We recommend the ERA as a useful source of advice.
The Direct Marketing Association has a wealth of information for marketing industry professionals.
We recommend the DMA's library as particularly helpful.
Companies involved in call centers operations, equipment supply, services and support should take a look at The American Teleservices Association, which provides a useful range of member services.
